The historic Bob Lo Boats ran from downtown Detroit to Bob Lo Island for many decades. These two boats were launched in 1910. This photo was taken when two of three original "Bob Lo Boats" were in dry dock for rehab for future use. Image taken the year 2001. For most people with a Detroit history the Bob Lo Boats bring back many memories.
